Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Vetted ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use Vetted
  • You must provide accurate, truthful information in your profile
  • You must not be prohibited from using the Platform under applicable law
  • You must have the intent to form genuine romantic connections

3. Account Registration & Verification

All users must verify their phone number to create an account. Vetted employs multi-tier verification including phone verification, social media linking, and government ID verification. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate identification documents when requested
  • Not create accounts using false or misleading information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Not share your account with any other person

4. AI-Powered Services

Vetted uses artificial intelligence for match curation, profile scoring, and compatibility analysis. By using the Platform, you acknowledge and consent to:

  • AI analysis of your profile data, photos, preferences, and behavioural patterns to generate match recommendations
  • Automated scoring of profile quality, including photo assessment, to optimise match compatibility
  • The VettedScore system, which reflects your verification level and platform engagement
  • AI-generated conversation starters and icebreakers based on shared interests

The Platform's AI systems operate at our sole discretion. Match recommendations, scoring, and ranking are proprietary and may be adjusted at any time without notice.

5. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Platform for hookups, casual encounters, or non-serious purposes
  • Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
  • Upload false, misleading, or outdated photos
  • Solicit money from other users
  • Use the Platform for commercial purposes or advertising
  • Attempt to circumvent verification or scoring systems
  • Create multiple accounts
  • Scrape, mine, or collect user data

6. Subscriptions & Payments

  • Vetted is free for women. Men require a paid subscription to message matches
  • Subscriptions auto-renew monthly unless cancelled
  • Refunds are at our sole discretion
  • Prices may change with 30 days notice
  • Event tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by Vetted

7. Safety

While Vetted takes extensive measures to verify users and maintain safety, we cannot guarantee the identity, behaviour, or intentions of any user. You are responsible for your own safety when interacting with other users, both online and offline.

We strongly recommend using the date check-in feature when meeting someone in person for the first time.

8. Content

You retain ownership of content you upload. By uploading content, you grant Vetted a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with the Platform.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms or our community guidelines.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, for any reason, including violation of these terms, without prior notice. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

10. Limitation of Liability

Vetted is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to interactions with other users, match recommendations, or AI-generated content.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), UAE. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the DIFC.
